Friday 10th February, 2012Our relationship with Barhale WSP continues to grow with the award of a scheme at Batley Road Wrenthorpe. The work involves construction of a 10m diameter shaft will provide additional storage during times of heavy rainfall along with a section of new gravity sewer and pumping main storage on the local sewer network along with a section of new gravity sewer and rising main. The contract has a programme period of 10 weeks.

Contract News
Friday 3rd February, 2012Peter Duffy Limited has been awarded a £1.5m contract by Leeds City Council for Watercourse Maintenance. The contract is for a period of two years with an option to extend for a further one year and with an option to carry out work in other districts of West Yorkshire, including Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield.
This award is the renewal of the current contract which the company undertakes.

A RIDDOR free 2011
Thursday 2nd February, 2012“We are very pleased to say that we got through 2011 without any reportable injuries or dangerous occurrences. Safety takes precedence above all other business objectives and it was very satisfying to know that our employees were able to avoid injury and return home safely each day. It was also pleasing to know that we achieved this in a year when we increased activities and our employee numbers by 30%.

Mapping Surveys at Hartlepool Marina
Tuesday 3rd January, 2012Peter Duffy Limited is currently carrying out Positional mapping, Level and Conditional surveys for Northumbrian Water at Hartlepool Marina Tees Valley.
The works being carried out involve the survey of sewers and drains which were transferred, under new legislation to Northumbrian Water Limited on 01 October 2011.
Data collected will show location and depth measurements of existing services which will enable Northumbrian Water to plan future works with far greater accuracy and confidence. Works are due to be completed by the end of February 2012.
