There are just over 4 weeks to go until members of staff from Peter Duffy Limited and DrainsAid take part in the charity cycling event “The Yorkshire Corker 2019”.

The event takes place on Sunday 2nd June and there are 3 different routes to choose from:

  • The ‘Half Pint’ beginner route starts at 10am and covers 32 miles to Howsham and back.
  • The ‘Full Pint’ intermediate route, which will see cyclists ride to Malton and back, starts at 9am and covers a distance of 60 miles.
  • The ‘Stein’ route is sure to test your abilities, starting at 8am and covering a massive 95 miles.

The event raises money for 3 fantastic charities; the Alzheimer’s Society, British Heart Foundation and St Leonard’s Hospice, who care and support for York’s local people with life limiting illnesses.

It is not too late to enter if anyone else wishes to take part; entries must be made by Saturday 18th May and you can do so by following the below link. We are subsidising entries made by our employees.

Our team cycling jerseys arrived last week and we can’t wait to wear them on the day!

Good luck to everyone taking part
