Our DCWW contract Quantity Surveyor, Sian Williams, has completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management. Sian joined the company as a call taker / scheduler 11 years ago, and moved into commercial shortly after that.
She began studying for an HNC at the South Wales University in 2012, and has continued to juggle a busy QS role with the coursework required to get a degree. She completed with a 2:1 with honours.
Undertaking studies on a day release basis is never an easy option, even more so when you are a key member of the team on a reactive works contract as Sian is in Wales. However Sian’s commitment to both work and studies has never faulted throughout and we thank her for her continued efforts and work ethic.
In acknowledgement of her well-earned success Sian has been promoted to Project Quantity Surveyor with overall responsibility for all commercial and contractual issues on our DCWW contracts.
