Peter Duffy Limited has commenced a sewer diversion for Costain on the new section of the A465 Heads of The Valleys road at Gilwern, Abergavenny, South Wales. The work requires strategic road closures and 24 hour working at weekends.
This is the first of a number of sewer diversions due to be carried out on the scheme during the next few months.
The Welsh Government is investing £220m in the latest upgrade of the A465 and main contractor Costain commenced work late 2014 and is due to complete the contract in mid 2018.
