Work started on 29 April at Ellerton near Selby on a surface water separation scheme. The work entails the laying of a new surface water sewer through the village and associated enhancements on the network..
The scheme has been designed in-house and includes the construction of 180m of 375mm diameter and 85m of 225mm diameter of new pipework plus 340m of lining to the existing sewer varying in diameter from 150mm to 450mm.
The scheme is being managed by Rob Hill, the client is Yorkshire Water and is due to be completed in mid-October.
