Work has commenced this week at Symmetry Park, Blyth.

Working with Marshall Building Contractors we will deliver a package of infrastructure works including

  • A new 3 arm roundabout on the Blyth Road,
  • Modifications and improvements to the existing highway under a S278 agreement,
  • Section 38 highway works
  • Onsite drainage including a foul pumping station and rising main
  • Utility works.

All the works been carried out to the adoptable standards of the local highway authority, Nottinghamshire County Council and regional water company, Severn Trent Water.

 

Adjacent to J34 of the A1M the site will provide 720,000sqft of commercial space, a drive thru restaurant and a public house with the potential to create 1000 jobs when completed.

With a project value of £1.5m works are expected to be completed within a 29 week programme.
